El movimiento ciudadano Todos somos Zimapán, de Hidalgo, anunció nuevas acciones de desobediencia civil pacífica para este año, con la finalidad de evitar la construcción del confinamiento de desechos industriales tóxicos y peligrosos que la empresa española Befesa está llevando a cabo en la comunidad de Botiñhá...En 2004 se autorizó el cambio en el uso de suelo de 133 hectáreas para la construcción de lo que se dijo que sería una planta recicladora. Sin embargo, el 22 de junio de 2007 los habitantes descubrieron que esa planta no iba a ser otra cosa que un confinamiento de desechos peligrosos.
