EU firms export digital surveillance tools to Chinese authorities accused of human rights abuses, Amnesty International report finds

On 21 September 2020, Amnesty International published a report on the sale of surveillance technology to Chinese authorities accused of human rights abuses by three European companies, Idemia, Axis Communications and Noldus, and called on the European Union to regulate the export of these technologies.

Companies' responses are included in the report (Chapter 4).
