Ivory Coast PM to form new cabinet after toxic scandal [includes comments by ship owner Prime Marine, Trafigura Beheer]

The...entire cabinet [of Ivory Coast resigned Wednesday] over a pollution scandal that left three people dead and some 1,500 others poisoned... [Toxic] waste...had been unloaded from a...ship...the Probo Koala..., [owned by] Prime Marine Management, [which] confirmed a Russian crew sailing the ship chartered by...Trafigura [Beheer] had discharged toxic waste but...declined responsibility for the poisoning... It said the discharge was lawful and an Ivorian company Tommy had been entrusted with handling the waste... Seeking to clarify earlier reports, Trafigura told AFP Thursday that its wholly owned subsidiary Puma Energy group does not own or have any commercial interest in the company Tommy.
