Response from Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy re allegations of visa misuse in Nepal-Qatar recruitment

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) can confirm that the recent recruitment drives in Nepal by Urbacon Trading & Contracting Company (UCC), Galfar Al Misnad or Al Jaber Trading and Contracting are not related to any SC projects.

UCC has not been involved with SC projects for over three years, while Galfar Al Misnad significantly demobilised workers by March 2021 with the completion of Al Bayt Stadium and currently have only 60 workers for maintenance across various stadiums. Furthermore, Al Jaber Trading & Contracting (AJTC) HR has confirmed that the recruitment advertisement highlighted in the article is not related to their current scope on the SC project, which is expected to be completed over the next three months...
