The global landscape is increasingly affected by conflict, impacting nearly a quarter of the world’s population and posing significant economic and social risks. Understanding these impacts and the way they affect investments is crucial for responsible investment practices. 

EIRIS Conflict Risk Network (CRN), together with Responsible Investment Association of Australasia’s (RIAA), is hosting a webinar dedicated to shedding light on recent developments and tools pertinent to investors navigating the complexities of having conflict affected investments within their portfolios. This event aims to provide actionable insights and strategies for responsibly managing investments exposure to conflict-affected areas. 

The agenda includes discussions on EIRIS CRN’s Investor Commitments on Conflict and RIAA’s Investor Toolkit on Human Rights and Armed Conflict. Speakers will also share their insights and experiences, particularly highlighting challenges faced by investors.
