Senior Advisor - Standards - Shift

This is a new role in our small, dynamic team that reflects the growth in Shift’s work to influence and implement mandatory standards on business and human rights at national, regional and international levels. The person in this position will bring a strong legal background and be responsible for cultivating and leading strategic relationships with governments and businesses on the implementation of mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence and reporting standards. They will lead or support engagements with policymakers, national regulatory bodies, companies, financial institutions and civil society organizations on the development and effective implementation of mandatory standards, with a focus on the implementation of recent European Union due diligence legislation in global value chains.
