In September and October 2020, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL) held the webinar series 'Human Rights Due Diligence for Climate Change Impacts', as part of the newly established BIICL Human Rights Due Diligence Forum.

With developments towards mandatory due diligence laws in Europe increasingly including climate change impacts in their scope, the webinar series looked at how due diligence as a legal standard of care can be applied in relation to climate change, and what the practical implications for companies are likely to be.
