AU10TIX did not respond to concerns about the right to privacy of XBlue suscribers in verification process

On 2 October 2023, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited AU10TIX to respond to the concerns over potential impacts on the right to privacy of XBlue subscribers in relation to a new X verification process to be carried out by the AU10TIX. According to the referenced article from Doha News, XBlue subscribers will be required to provide biometric data, including a selfie and a government-issued ID, to the company. AU10TIX did not respond.
