Environmental groups sue Taylor Energy over leaking oil in Gulf [USA]

The company, a contractor and MMS officials agreed...to drill intervention wells to stop the oil, according to an affidavit filed by Taylor...But by July 2008, the amount of oil being released from the site was still increasing and posed a significant threat to the environment, MMS informed the company.
