Gender Based Discrimination Litigation March 2021 - Research paper

This research focuses on 6 high profile gender discrimination cases which have been decided within the last 5 years or less. These cases were selected for our report because they all illustrated at least one of the key criteria that we benchmarked our choices against; these were (1) novel legal findings (2) an innovative approach to litigation (3) the impact of the case in the jurisdiction and/or (4) whether the case highlights an area of contention in the current application of the law.

The cases are also geographically diverse as we wanted to try and take a “snapshot” of how discrimination cases are being litigated across different jurisdictions. As the cases show, the development of this area of the law differs greatly across the globe...
