Lawsuits in Canada and Guatemala against Tahoe Resources and its representatives, and the ongoing investigation for corruption of Guatemalan officials responsible for permitting the Escobal mine, put in question the legality and legitimacy of this company’s flagship project, as well as the viability of its future expansion.
