MSN welcomes company statement on Honduras coup

Apparel brands with production in Honduras, including adidas Group, Nike Inc. and Gap Inc., have released a joint letter sent to US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "calling for the restoration of democracy in Honduras" following the June 28th military coup...The Maquila Solidarity Network (MSN)...welcomes the statement but asks why other major international brands and manufacturers with a presence in Honduras have remained silent...including the three largest foreign investors in the country's apparel sector -- Fruit of the Loom/Russell Corporation [part of Berkshire Hathaway], Hanesbrands and Gildan?...
