Peru: Ancash region under alert over alleged contamination of water sources by Antamina mining operations

Following allegations by a parliamentary (in Spanish) that attributed to Antamina [joint venture BHP Billiton, Glencore, Mitsubishi group & Teck Resources] mining contamination of water sources in Ancash that could pose at risk nearby communities, the Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Antamina to respond.  The response by Antamina, BHP Billiton, Glencore and Mitsubishi are available in English and Spanish.  Teck Resources responded later; its response is below.
