More than 30 violations identified by Rostekhnadzor at Dalpolimetall MMC, 30 October 2025

On October 30, 2025, NEDRADV reported that the Far Eastern Directorate of Rostekhnadzor identified violations of industrial safety requirements at JSC Dalpolimetall Mining and Metallurgical Company at the Yuzhny, 2nd Sovetsky, and Nikolayevsky mines. The company operates in Primorsky Krai, Russia.

According to the authority, more than 30 violations were detected, including:

  • The staffing of the mines is incomplete, with several required specialist positions unfilled in accordance with the project documentation.
  • Mining operations are being carried out with deviations from the approved technical documentation.
  • During the development of mine workings, the roof support and ground control plans are not being followed.
  • Mine workings that serve as emergency exits are obstructed by pieces of rock mass, preventing the free passage of personnel.
  • Inadequate ventilation of mine workings is allowed.
  • No monitoring is conducted on the wear of guides in cage and skip vertical shafts.
  • Engine compartments of self-propelled mining equipment (load-haul-dump machines and dump trucks) are not equipped with autonomous fire-suppression systems.

Seven officials of Dalpolimetall MMC, including technical managers of the mines, were held administratively liable and fined a total of 180,000 rubles.
