Singled out for rights abuses

Belarus, Colombia, Ethiopia, Burma, and Venezuela were singled out by the Conference [June 2001 International Labour Conference] Committee on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations, for serious infringement of Convention 87 on freedom of association, while Sudan was pointed at for continued failure to implement Convention 29 on forced labour.
