Sudan: Drones produced by Aerospace Times Feihong Technology found deployed in military conflict; incl company non-response
According to reports, on July 7, 2026, the Sudanese Armed Forces announced that they had shot down an FH-95 (also known as the CH-95) military drone. This model was developed by Aerospace Times Feihong Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and is capable of performing reconnaissance, electronic warfare, and strike missions. While the operator of the downed drone has not yet been officially confirmed, public records indicate that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) is the only known organization in Sudan equipped with and operating this model of drone; therefore, it is widely speculated that the drone belonged to the RSF. Reports suggest that this model of drone may have been transferred to the Rapid Support Forces via the United Arab Emirates. Reports indicate that this incident suggests the FH-95 (CH-95) drone may have been deployed in the armed conflict in Sudan and is carrying out military missions on the battlefield there.
Business and Human Rights Centre reached out to Aerospace Times Feihong Technology Co., Ltd. for response. They did not respond.
