Yenis Zuay Rodriguez and her colleague Carlos Omar Espinoza Velasuez faced a hearing at the Colon Tribunal in Honduras for a lawsuit brought by the company Agropalma. The charges were usurpation of land. The charges were allegedly brought as a retaliation for their work against the private company and the fight for land rights.
