Fundamentals of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment for Young Professionals

How do you increase your involvement in a field that requires a wealth of experience to access? The IEMA Young Professional’s Global Environmental and Social Assessment steering group is holding an event to provide young professionals with an introduction to the fundamentals of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment in an international setting. The event will include insights from guest speakers from both consultancy and lender’s side of industry on the key concepts that underpin ESIA, future trends and open panel discussions aimed at understanding barriers to the industry.

The event will be followed by a social held at a nearby venue. This will provide an opportunity for attendees to socialise and catch-up following the event.

Target audience

The event will be held at the Arcadis House in London on the 22nd of September and is aimed at young professionals looking to develop the experience and skills necessary to deliver competent environmental and social assessments in an international context.
