UNEP report re oil pollution in Niger Delta

UNEP issued the following statement:
UN environment agency stresses that Nigerian oil assessment is not yet complete, 23 Aug 2010

Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited Shell to respond.  Shell provided the following statement:
Shell response to reports regarding UNEP environmental study in Ogoniland, Nigeria [DOC], 30 Aug 2010

It also pointed to the following videos as providing a "picture of the scale and impact of the illegal operations of some in Nigeria":
