[Prasad Shetty, owner of Manikya Associates, said] “My firm has nothing to do with the stranded youths... my firm only acted as a facilitator for Hawk Consultancy Private Limited, Mumbai, to recruit these 58 youths as Bike Riders for Aspect Petroleum Services Company, Kuwait... I have come forward to lend my helping hand in getting them out of this crisis...we have offered a few of these youths jobs presently, but they are reluctant to accept our offer. The youths were recruited as per the requirement of Mumbai-based Hawk Consultancy for the said company in Kuwait, and the necessary agreements were duly signed by the youths before they landed in Kuwait."
