1st European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability (SE+D)

People with disabilities represent 16% of all European citizens. They are a source of talent and, together with their families, are a large number of potential consumers. Europe’s present social and economic context requires us to develop innovative new solutions to the problems now facing us. In this context and in keeping with the Social Business Initiative, ONCE Foundation, a benchmark organization in the field of disability in Spain and Europe, is launching the European Award for Social Entrepreneurship and Disability (SE+D). ONCE Foundation has created this award as the result of 13 years of collaboration with the European Union and its own experience in the European Network for CSR and Disability. [Call for nominees to be announced 4 Oct. The first award is made possible through support from Telefónica & L’Óreal]
