2nd Hungarian LGBT Business & Human Rights Conference

This year the 2nd Hungarian Business and Human Rights Conference will take place at the British Embassy. Following registration, Greg Dorey, the British Ambassador will open this years conference. Among our speakers will be Ulrike Lunacek, member of the European Parliament; the Executive Director of Out & Equal; one of the researchers of the Central European University, and the head organizer of EuroGames 2012. The conference themes will be the following: According to the latest statistical data, only 12% of business leaders interviewed were aware of the fact that they employed LGBT people. While the overwhelming majority of LGBT people in Hungary are still closeted, more than a third report being discriminated against on the basis of their sexual orientation and gender identity.
