400 workers of Sangtuda-1 went on strike [Tajikistan]

Hundreds of employees of Sangtuda-1 hydroelectric power station regulated by the Russian government, went on strike demanding payment of the backdated wages they did not receive for four months…the General Director of the company Rahmetulla Aljanov…shifted responsibility for delay in wage payments to indebted consumer Barci Tojik…Representatives of the Barci Tojik were unavailable for comments…66.4 percent of the Sangtuga stake belongs to the Russian Government, 14.9% to Russia's Federal Grid Company, 16.45% to Tahikistan, and 2.2% to Russian InterRAO construction company.
