60% of factories register pollution levels exceeding limits [Israel]

The Environment Ministry has discovered air pollution levels surpassing limits at nearly all the factories in which surprise inspections were conducted in 2002...Prominent plants found to be violating air pollution regulations include Dead Sea Works, the Bromine Compounds facilities, Ramat Hovav's Makteshim and the Zoglobek factory in Shlomi.
