Why this forum and why now?...In collaboration with you, our partners, we look forward to create awareness and to advocate and implement [the Children’s Rights and Business Principles]. Practical tools and materials are being developed to assist business in the implementation of the Principles, and we will work with industry leaders, sustainability groups and civil society in identifying the best ways to take stock of progress and challenges. Finally, there is room for improvement in terms of co-operation between all stakeholders. Ensuring the respect of the rights of the child is a common responsibility which issues related to the rights of the child and the role of business will be discussed.
