Affected by Private Security Companies to Demand Compensations, Human Rights Ministry Says [Iraq]

Iraqi Ministry of Human Rights announced today that it will receive petitions for compensation of the citizens who were affected by the behaviour of special security companies, pointing out it will put these companies into account for the damages legally. In a statement issued by the Ministry, copy received by Aswat al-Iraq, the Ministry laid out the objectives of this initiative and called people to submit their requests for compensation. On the other hand, the statement added that the Ministry will put into account all who made these damages in accordance with the prevailing laws, with just trials.
