A number of leading businesses operating across the Arab world today launched the AIDS Business Coalition in the Arab World ABCAR, on the sidelines of the WEF [World Economic Forum]. The initiative, launched by Shell EP International, Lafarge Group, and Standard Chartered Bank, is a non-for-profit company that aims to promote and support the implementation of life-saving and cost-effective HIV/AIDS programs in the workplace through business-to-business models.
