Author: Compiled by Business & Human Rights Resource Centre, Published on: 14 November 2012

At the end of October 2012, according to reports by local civil society, protesters were allegedly subject to intimidation and death threats from individuals linked to the wind farm project. [Business & Human Rights Resource Centre invited companies reportedly financing & benefiting from the project to respond. FEMSA, Heineken, Macquarie Energy, Mitsubishi Corporation, PGGM, & Vestas responded. We will indicate here if Confederación de Trabajadores de México responds.]
