Americas: highly dangerous for trade unionists

"With 186 trade unionists dead or missing (90% of the world total) the American continent remains the most perilous in the world for trade unionists" said Bill Jordan, General Secretary of the ICFTU. In nearly 40% of the countries examined on the continent, at least one person died last year as a result of their trade union activities.
