I have written earlier...about procedural flaws and irreversible environmental impacts due to the construction of a thermal power plant by OPG Power Gujarat Private Limited (a Special Purposed Vehicle (SPV) promoted by the OPG Group, based in Chennai), along this fragile coast…The company claimed it had met its obligations to inform the local people fully, but this was disputed by the locals themselves.
