Bank of ABQ pays $230K to settle discrimination suit [USA]

The Bank of Albuquerque and its parent company, BOK Financial Corp., have agreed to pay $230,000 to settle a sex- and age-discrimination lawsuit that alleged two female employees were fired because they were over 40 years old. The bank and its parent firm also agreed to refrain from future discrimination, post an anti-discrimination notice and provide employees training, according to a statement from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission...BOK Financial Senior Vice President and Director of Investor Relations Joseph Crivelli said…that the Bank of Albuquerque “specifically denies liability in the settlement agreement. No consent order was entered.”…
