The Business & Human Rights Resource Centre is at a critical point in its development. Our digital platform is home to a wealth of information on business and human rights, but hasn’t had a visual refresh for a number of years.

We will soon be updating the site to improve its usability and better serve the thousands of people that use our site to support their work.

Bank wants more women at top [Czech Republic]

…[G]ender inequality continues to plague the work force…[M]any companies work to combat that…UniCredit Bank has launched a program in cooperation with the U.S. Business School Praha (USBSP) to increase the percentage of female employees in top management positions, by encouraging existing employees and recruiting more women…[A]ccording to Dagmar Mádrová, the main branch manager at a UniCredit bank…Women hold more than half of entry level positions, only about a third in middle management and…only 6 percent of senior management positions in the Czech banking sector.
