Bolivia: Bilateral agreements with Russia signed to increase cooperation in the energy sector

…Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales, have ratified…both nations will deepen strategic partnership and cooperation, especially in the energy sector. During a meeting in the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin stressed that the economic collaboration development has been in recent years sustained…Similarly, the Russian Head of State referred to the construction of a nuclear research center in Bolivia and considered the Evo Morales´s official visit as a triggering factor for their bilateral relations. The Bolivian leader, on the other hand, stressed the importance of Russia as an inspiration for those in the world who back up multipolar model, sovereignty of states and international law. Morales, who before moving to the Kremlin put a wreath in front of tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in the Alexander Garden, commented on the lithium issue in a visit paid to the Russian University of Friendship with the Peoples…The Bolivian Head of State told the teachers staff and students that his nation exports lithium to other nations and is nowadays seeking cooperation with Russia in this area. Russia and Bolivia signed a series of bilateral agreements, among which one would be related to the Russian participation in the industrialization of the said natural resource…
