The launch of the Business Coalition for Racial and Gender Equity by Ethos Institute, CEERT (Centre for Studies of Labour Relations and Inequalities) and the Institute for Human Rights and Business gained support of 20 companies who committed to promote social inclusion, disseminate a culture of equity with suppliers and service providers and accelerate the process of gender equality by engaging in positive actions and marketing good practices…The Business Coalition can count on the support of Movimento Mulheres 360, the Carrefour Institute, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Newton Fund, and of the UK and British Council…CEERT’s executive director, Cida Bento, said “The State has taken significant steps to include young black or poor people in the education system.
