Bulgaria: Workers at Cherno More mine protest over unpaid wages

"Bulgarian miners go on underground strike near Burgas", 17 December 2014

The workers from Cherno More mine near the Bulgarian city of Burgas have gone on strike again, with over 40 people from the night shift remaining underground…The miners declared that they are not going to come out until they receive their delayed salaries, private bTV station reports…The chairman of trade union Podkrepa (Support) Radoslav Radukov said for bTV that the strike was not predicted and it resulted from the escalation of tension, as salaries have not been paid for the past three months.
