Business and Human Rights Officer

  • Salary: Starting salary £29,195
  • Contract Type: 2 years initially, with possibility of extension

The Business and Human Rights Officer is responsible for supporting the overall delivery of Anti-Slavery’s work in Business and Human Rights. The successful candidate will support the delivery of a European Supply Chains project, as well as contributing to the development and delivery of our business and human rights workstream as a whole.

This exciting position brings lots of potential for increased responsibility and requires a high level of organisation and initiative, attention to detail and an ability to work with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who can embody our values and who shares our passion for fighting slavery.

The Business and Human Rights Officer will be required to travel outside of the UK for short periods and assist in the administration of events and other programme activities. The post holder will also be required to undertake desk-based research, work with project partners to identify relevant information and produce good quality written reports.
