Business & human rights courses, institutes, and resources at university level have been developing rapidly to keep pace with the evolving field of business & human rights practice -- and to identify emerging issues requiring research and scholarship.

Resources for academics and scholars

Teaching Business & Human Rights Forum: "a platform for collaboration among individuals teaching business and human rights worldwide. The Forum seeks to promote and strengthen business and human rights education by fostering collaboration among teachers".  Includes:

  • discussion board for forum members - join the forum to participate
  • resources such as webinars, summaries of past annual workshops

Teaching Business & Human Rights Handbook: "seeks to advance business and human rights education by providing teachers with resources for teaching the most common business and human rights topics" with "topical teaching notes".  Academics teaching courses relating to business & human rights are invited to participate in developing resources.

Business & Human Rights Journal: "an authoritative platform for scholarly debate on all issues concerning the intersection of business and human rights in an open, critical and interdisciplinary manner".
