Cablevision to Pay $11.6 Million in Knicks Bias Suit [USA]

Cablevision Systems Corp., owner of Madison Square Garden and the New York Knicks, and its Chief Executive Officer James Dolan must pay $11.6 million after losing a sexual harassment lawsuit by a female former team executive. Anucha Browne Sanders, 44, once senior vice president for marketing, was harassed by Knicks coach Isiah Thomas, jurors said today... She was subjected to a hostile work environment by MSG and fired...for complaining, the panel said... MSG...said it would appeal... ``No sexual harassment took place and MSG acted properly,'' MSG said today in a statement.
