Cairn Energy in India: Turning on the water works?

Cairn may have to inject increased amounts of water into their wells to boost production of the recoverable oil [in Rajasthan, India]. This is a common practice in the industry, but is a tricky issue in desert communities that often suffer from serious shortage of the stuff for much of each year.
