Global Reporting Initiative

Call for input on Global Reporting Initiative's new draft of human rights reporting standards (deadline: 9 June)

Give your feedback on GRI’s sustainability reporting standards through this online survey (until 9 Jun)... The Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB), GRI’s independent standard setting body, has initiated a project to review GRI’s universal Standards and is soliciting feedback from all stakeholders.  One of the drivers of this project is to address the recommendations of the GRI Technical Committee on Human Right Disclosure. These include the incorporation of specific human rights disclosures into the universal Standards and the incorporation of the due diligence concept into GRI 103: Management Approach 2016. The project also aims to make other appropriate revisions to the universal Standards (GRI 101: Foundation 2016, GRI 102: General Disclosures 2016 and GRI 103: Management Approach 2016), to provide greater clarity and promote consistent application of the GRI Standards across all reporting organizations. This could include revisions...in accordance criteria, reporting principles, management approach, and general disclosures, as well as  the overall clarity and accessibility of the structure and presentation of the GRI Standards. GRI has opened an online survey for reporting organizations and other interested stakeholders to share current reporting practices and challenges in applying the universal Standards and in using GRI Standards reports. This feedback will be used to identify potential revisions to the Standards. The online survey is open until 9 June 2019... For more information or to download a copy of the survey questions, please visit the project page or contact [email protected].
