Campaign & Policy Assistant at Global Justice Now

Global Justice Now seeks to build movements, challenge the powerful and create a world where resources are controlled by the many, not by the few. Our cutting edge campaigns are demanding food sovereignty, fighting for energy democracy and campaigning to stop unjust trade deals, like the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). We changed our name from WDM to Global Justice Now last year.

The campaigns and policy assistant will play a key support role within the campaigns and policy team’s work, which is currently focused on energy, food and trade justice issues. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with research and analysis of information, supporting the planning and execution of campaigning activities as well as working on the effective communication of our campaigns to supporters and the wider public.

We’re looking for someone very well-organised who is also able to take initiative and contribute to a busy, dynamic team.

We welcome applications from everyone irrespective of ethnicity, but as members of ethnic minority groups are currently under-represented in assistant-level jobs we would like to encourage applications from black and ethnic minority candidates. Appointment will be based on merit alone.
