Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise calls for input on draft Operating Procedures

The Canadian Ombudsperson for Responsible Enterprise (CORE) is holding public consultations on the CORE’s draft Operating Procedures, including its compliance and dispute resolution framework. The Operating Procedures are below, as well a letter providing details on the consultation process. For more information on CORE and any updates to the consultation process, visit: core-ombuds.canada.ca

*Update: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CORE has decided to wait and re-launch the formal public consultation at a later time. However, the office will still accept input on CORE's draft Operating Procedures if you are interested in providing input.

Our ongoing coverage of developments related to the CORE, including concerns civil society has raised about the scope of powers and independence of the Ombudsperson, is located here.
