Christian Brothers Investment Services wrote to the CEOs of 8 major hotel chains operating in So. Africa asking them to detail specific actions they were taking to prevent human trafficking, including child sexual exploitation, in advance of the World Cup. Six did not respond to their inquiry, or sent a response that did not address their concerns. Business & Human Rights Resource Centre obtained responses from those hotels: Best Western, Hilton Worldwide, Hyatt Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels, NH Hotels, Starwood Hotels.
