CFS Raises the Bar for Sustainability Reporting

Co-operative Financial Services (CFS), which is widely acknowledged as setting the benchmark across the world for sustainability reporting, today (25 July) launched its annual Sustainability Report...The Report, which is a "warts and all" assessment of its ethical and environmental performance reveals that of the 70 performance targets set by The Co-operative Bank and CIS for 2004, 55 (79 per cent) have been fully achieved or seen acceptable progress, but 15 (21 per cent) have yet to be completed. CFS' last Sustainability Report was rated in separate awards as the best in the World, Europe and UK, and is widely seen as the barometer of where social and environmental reporting will go next.
