Comment: Response to the DTI [Department of Trade & Industry] report on CSR [corporate social responsibility] by the IPPR [UK]

The DTI...appears happy for CSR to be a ‘business-led’ journey...However, experience shows us that a business-led journey will not take us where we need to go...The DTI must do more than provide advice and promote corporate case studies to those companies that are already warm to the idea of responsible business behaviour.
