…It seems clear that despite virtually no engagement in the process of creating the Millennium Development Goals, business is proud of its role in the formation of the Sustainable Development Goals. Numerous business leaders…said that the involvement in crafting the goals has contributed to much greater buy-in among the private sector…But when you ask for a seat at the table, as many in the private sector have done, it also means you have to step up. And that is the task that now lies ahead.
