Company fined after horrific accident [Australia]

A machinery hire company has been fined after a worker was paralysed when a tractor he was unloading fell on him…The incident left him a paraplegic. A WorkCover investigation found safety protocols were not being followed and charged the company, Multi Civil & Rail Services, with breaching the Occupational Health and Safety Act…The company pleaded guilty to the charges and was fined $125,000 and ordered to pay WorkCover's legal costs.
