Construction company pays for ‘Satan’s’ lust [Namibia]

The woman…Laimi Rebeus, alleged that the company’s chef Huang Zu Yan and another worker…at Qingdao Construction in Brakwater area, sexually harassed her…[S]he reported both the chef and ‘Satan’ to the supervisor…for their sexual improprieties. When no action was taken to stop the two from sexual harassment, Rebeus claimed that she reported the matter to the police who visited the company but left after warning the bosses. After the visit by the police, Rebeus and three other workers…were fired…[T]he manager… said he dismissed the women because they had lied about being sexually harassed…On Tuesday, the company’s human resources manager, Sky Ding Tao, said the company would compensate the women. “We will pay them, although Rebeus is yet to present any proof of the alleged sexual advances from her colleagues,” said Ding Tao, adding that the women were free to return to work…
