Corporate America chided for race bar at board level

One of the most prominent African-Americans in US finance has called for greater efforts to include people of colour in senior corporate positions, saying there has been a "stunning" lack of progress in this area. John Rogers, founder and chief executive of Ariel Investments, told the Financial Times: "There's just so many fields that we're just not there. "If you go down the lucrative fields in our economy these days, you just see the lack of progress is truly stunning."
