Friends of the CHRB
We are grateful to the governments and foundations that have supported our journey to date. The creation of an open-source and wide-scale benchmark on corporate human rights performance runs counter to a long-established business model of providing such intelligence on a paid-for basis. This means the CHRB relies on the passion and commitment of stakeholders like you committed to supporting its long-term success.
As we approach our first ever rankings during 2016, the CHRB is calling out globally for "friends" of the Benchmark to provide financial support. In doing so, you could be one of the first to support this unique and important initiative, demonstrating your commitment to advancing change in the business and human rights field. Donations by Friends of the CHRB will be directly contributing to the sustainability of the CHRB and its establishment long-term, including in particular:
-
Production of an interactive website hosting the 2016 Pilot Benchmark results.
-
Global consultation on the 2016 Pilot Benchmark results with stakeholders across business, government, civil society, trade unions, academia and those directly affected by corporate activities.
-
Revision to the Pilot Methodology to produce the final Methodology for the C
orporate Human Rights Benchmark. -
Expansion of the CHRB Methodology to additional issue areas, such as the impacts of product and service consumption, the links to climate change or taxation, or geographical factors.
-
Achieving the CHRB's long-term goal of benchmarking the 500 largest companies on the planet.
To acknowledge our supporters and and extend the support network for the long-term development of the Corporate Human Rights Benchmark, we are launching the Friends of the CHRB.
